UK IMO Register: Scans of original IMO papers (as given to contestants)

Sources of past IMO problems commonly paraphrase those problems rather than reproducing exactly the wording given to contestants at the IMO. In particular, while the problems on imo-official from 2006 onwards are as given to contestants (although with an incomplete set of languages for IMO 2007), those for previous years are mostly retyped versions, sometimes taken from sources that paraphrased the problems. Although the paraphrases hopefully keep the mathematical substance of the problem, the changes of details may affect, for example, what is considered the most precise translation of a problem statement into a formal language.

This page collects scans of the IMO problem papers actually given to contestants (or scans of photocopies thereof), rather than retyped versions, for IMO 2005 and before. Contributions of additional such scans are welcome. In any cases where there were additional mathematical explanations distributed with the problems (as opposed to logistical instructions about the conduct of the exams), it is appropriate to include those with the scans.
